Scranton, PA. (MARCH 11, 2013)– Joe Van WieCEO of JVW, Inc. a leader in corporate marketing, web design, quantitative research and political advertising is pleased to announce today that JVW, Inc’s Jamie Hannigan has been awarded a ‘GOLD ADDY for Consumer Website, Alexander’s Spa’.  A GOLD ADDY is recognition of the highest level of creative excellence and is judged to be superior to all other entries in the category.  This website also won a ‘Judges Choice Award’ at the March 8 dinner.

“Miss Hannigan’s web design work is second to none and I would gladly put our JVW, Inc. client sites up against any other web design-firm in this area and beyond,” stated Van Wie, “Jamie’s hard work, attention to detail, and client pleasing know-how, make her and her exceptional design skills a huge reason why we are a successful and growing company.”

The American Advertising Awards (the ADDYS) are the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, attracting over 50,000 entries every year in local ADDY competitions. The mission of the ADDY competition is to recognize and reward creative excellence in the art of advertising.

Selection of the most creative entry in each category is affected by a scoring process in which a panel of judges evaluates all creative dimensions of every entry. Entries that are also considered outstanding and worthy of recognition receive a SILVER ADDY. The number of awards given in each category is determined by the judges, based on the relative quality of work in that category.

“I am very happy to have been recognized by winning an ADDY,” stated Miss Hannigan, “At JVW, we really don’t design web sites to win awards, we design the site with the client in mind and to give them the best site possible. Working from the very beginning to the web site launch, we add our professional knowledge, inject our ideas and experience into the process and make sure the finished product communicates effectively, in the end making our clients extremely happy and in this case with Alexander’s Spa, I believe they really were.”

“We aren’t interested in making cookie cutter web sites”, added Mr. Van Wie, “Our production staff, our video production team and back end analytics give us a premier design, a functional site and quantitative results, for any budget.”

Conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the local ADDY Awards is the first of a three-tier, national competition. Concurrently, all across the country, local entrants vie for recognition as the very best in their markets. At the second tier, local winners compete against other winners in one of 15 district competitions. District winners are then forwarded to the third tier, the national ADDY Awards competition.
